Our mission at Medical Care and Outcomes is to improve healthcare delivery by enhancing patient
medication compliance and providing critical information on utilization and outcomes to the
healthcare provider and system. We do this in the following way:
- Contact the patient after their encounter
- See how they are doing – Are they taking the medication? Are they feeling any better?
- Influence the patient
- To follow their physician's orders. Educate and empower them to use healthcare wisely.
- Document and report the outcomes to the stakeholders
- The Provider – in order to better understand the outcome of their care and to learn from their patients
- The Industry – in order to better serve healthcare and benefit the patient
- The Payer – in order to design their benefit to enhance true medical need with consumer responsibility
Why we are different
Medical Care and Outcomes is unlike other companies and programs designed to increase compliance and
improve disease-state outcomes. We are different because we produce tangible and measurable
results, and because we have a proven track record of success. The following points capture the
essence of why we are different from the rest and why our programs work:
- Integrated approach to education and follow-up (patient, provider, & payer)
- Focused on key patient decision point
- Capture key information (patient, brand, provider)
- Proactive professional one-on-one contact with patient
- Leverage people, process, and technology to improve compliance
What is needed for our programs?
The beauty of our programs is that they require no additional technology or equipment on the part
of any involved party. Below is the equipment list used in all of our programs:
- The patient
- The provider
- A telephone and either a fax machine or an email account
- The payer
- Our pharmacists
- A telephone and internet access
